Loving Your Job

“Every day I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America.  If I’m not there, I go to work.”  ~Robert Orben

I have exactly one friend who loves their employment.  One, just one person out of all the people I know.  If you are not loving your job you are wasting approximately 70% of your week.  Why would you do that to yourself?

Take a step and review (or create) your mission statement.  Does it match the one of your employer?  If not, perhaps it is time to find an employer that better suits you.  Afterall, there is no harm in looking to see what else may be waiting for  you out there.

Hey girl! I am not sure who exactly your one friend is who loves his/her job, but I can tell you after reading this that it occurred to me, probably much to your credit, that I do indeed love my job! Let’s hope it isn’t long before I also love the income it produces, because that, as of now, is the only thing it is lacking. Here’s to staying the path and doing the work!
