Staying Up Rather Than Getting Up

I am in a kind of Zig Ziglar mood today.  I have been thinking, and practicing the whole concept, like Zig says, of staying up being easier than getting up.  What I mean by this is many of us have the propensity to workout, listen to motivational items, take care of ourselves, etc. after we hit the wall and fall down.  Isn’t it easier, and less time-consuming to do these things while we are still up?

I am completely guilty in the past of waiting until I was down before making myself and/or my wants and needs a priority.  I can tell you, if you don’t all ready know from your own experience, it ends badly.  Repeating the pattern and thinking it will end differently is just nonsense.

You can have all the knowledge in the world, but unless you act, you will never see the outcomes you desire.

“You are the only person on earth who can use your ability.” ~Zig Ziglar
